HE HAS GOT TO BE THINKING WTF? ARE THEY FUCKING SERIOUS?
I AM SURE THAT WE HAVE NO RACE PROBLEMS IN THIS SOCIETY IF YOU ARE WHITE ! BEFORE YOU EVEN READ THIS YOU JUST KNOW RACISM AND RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY PLAYED A PART IN THIS.
Can someone help me with this? So let me get this straight.. according to the police chief Boyd , it was four officers who interrogated this young man about his clock being a bomb,outside of the presence of his parents and a lawyer. He was not allowed to call either, Why ? The kid never called it a bomb,he called it a clock and the bomb squad was never called and the school was never evacuated and they handcuffed this poor child possibly traumatizing him,then arresting him for what they determined was a hoax bomb...based on what? A bomb has to have a detonator and a timer or switch and a power supply and the explosive charge P.I.E.S. Did they even look at it closely? So why was he even arrested and fingerprinted and then suspended and let go ? How smart are the cops in this? How smart is the engineer teacher and the school that they stupidly thought this was a bomb? Keep in mind that there have been 7 kids in this country that made clocks similar to this and nothing happened to them. So what was it about this young man that caused the freak out where his rights were violated? I can understand their concern about the device. But if they were so concerned,then why didn't they call the bomb squad and evacuate the school, until they determined that there was no threat ? The cops need to quit because evidently they have no idea what a clock looks like and how do do their job.
