I Am Done With This Subject!

Big dog this is getting old. You do not understand police procedure. Fans are welcomed to read his comments in the comment section. First of all there is no such thing as you say a "flawed police report"..Ok! Crowley knowingly inserted those words in the report. A report with flaws get corrected before turning in, ask any cop? This "flawed report" nonsense is your euphemism for LYING! He lied that's all there is to it. You know it and I know it and the DA knew it! Any police report gets a proof read and checked and double checked for flaws.(its a legal document)before its submitted as record of fact. You do not make such an impotant"flaw" such as inserting a ethnic description in a report after interviewing the witness who said no such thing! Its just not possible.Unless you do it intentionally. All he had to do was to do what we call a "brief back" and confirmed it. Now the obstruction..If you can't understand that you are seeing this through a political prism and I am looking at it through a legal one. The campus is a red herring Big dog. You missed so much of my response. You are so fixated on this campus crap.it's moot! Gates is entitled to privacy in is dwelling. The cops had no right to breach that. Because if what you say is true then those charges would still be pending. They had no legal leg to stand on. So you can keep talking all that stuff your saying like campuses, obstruction, etc. Get past the politics! The fact of the matter is charges were dropped and you can guess why? Good day Dog!

Maybe Crowley was an AA pick and that explains how he screwed up filling out reports...

Yeh sure thing bigdaddy. Gonna pull a Palin on me. Cant hack it so you leave the conversation. BTW you mispelled a word better use spell check bigdaddy palin.

Police reports have had errors in them. My wifes police report concerning her accident had errors but we were told its merely a summation of said event. I also heard Cambridge police chief use this same explaination when question about the flawed report.

BTW how come the officer hasnt been fired for lieing in the report? got an answer bigdaddy palin?

The Campus point is not a red herring, it is vital to understanding this discretionary action by this officer, set forth in the state penal codes for places deemed public. Penal code: 'Public' means affecting or likely to affect persons in a place to which the public or a substantial group has access; among the places included are highways, transport facilities, schools, prisons, apartment houses, places of business or amusement, or any neighborhood." Model Penal Code § 250.2, at 324-325 (1980).

In theory, you're free to say all manner of unpleasant things to civil servants, such as police officers. In practice, not so much. The real precident here is we have been taught to respect that badge since childhood. So Bigdaddys own convictions about having a healthy respect for law enforcement just went out the door because the same doesnt apply to a black harvard professor? hmmm strange brew you are drinking?

Oh and about your case you wanted me to read but you never did. The defendent was found guilty on both charges of disorderly conduct and assault and battery. Its interesing it sounded like he was arrested for DC but was later charged by the DA for A&B also. The report said the female didnt want to press charges for a witnessed assault by an officer passing by. When he got pissy with her and the cops they arrested him for DC and was charged later with both offences. The court of appeals dismissed DC but affirmed A&B. So you see Bigdaddy palin, Its a totally seperate case.

I would have sided with gates and been all over this cop if gates would have not followed him out the door provoking the officer and not heeding his two verbal warnings was the topper. His charges were dismissed alright, if you have his friends any petty charge would get dismissed. They called it "good will". I called it favoritism.

BIGDOG

Have a great day bigdaddy palin.
